เนื้อหารายวิชาเกี่ยวข้องกับภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับจุดประสงค์เชิงวิชาการ เพื่อการสื่อสารเชิงวิชาการอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ กิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนเน้นเนื้อหาที่เป็นการบูรณาการทักษะทั้งสี่ด้าน โดยให้ความสำคัญกับทักษะการอ่าน ใช้เนื้อหาที่มาจากสื่อการเรียนการสอนจริงและกึ่งจริง  ได้แก่ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์ สื่อโสตทัศน์ และแหล่งข้อมูลอิเล็กทรอนิกส์
