SUT e-Learning

This course provides essential principles of hyperspectral remote sensing system and its applications. Also, public and commercial image processing softwares are introduced and applied on hyperspectral image classification along with individual assignment/presentation. Specific topics include (1) principles of hyperspectral remote sensing, (2) data collection and spectral library construction, (3) hyperspectral image preprocessing, (4) hyperspectral image classification algorithms, (5) hyperspectral image classification and accuracy assessment.

Expected learning outcomes

          Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to:  

          1. Explain principles of hyperspectral remote sensing and its applications.

          2. Apply image processing softwares for spectral library construction, hyperspectral image preprocessing, image classification and accuracy assessment.

           3. Integrate yielded knowledge on hyperspectral remote sensing in practice.

This course covers presentation techniques and structure of a presentation.

Students will learn the vocabulary and expressions needed   when giving a presentation in English. It also addresses other important issues such as body language, visuals, and interaction with the audience as well as question handling skills in a professional manner.

Introduction to information system design;  input, output, database and user interface design;  introduction to business model;  case studies on the topic of information system design

ความรู้เบื้องต้นทางสถิติ ประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่าง การแจกแจงความน่าจะเป็น ได้แก่  แบบปกติ แบบที แบบเอฟ และแบบไคสแควร์ สถิติเชิงบรรยาย ได้แก่ การแจกแจงความถี่ การวัดแนวโน้มเข้าสู่ส่วนกลาง การวัดการกระจาย สถิติเชิงอ้างอิง ได้แก่ การประมาณค่าพารามิเตอร์แบบจุดและแบบช่วง  การทดสอบสมมุติฐาน ได้แก่ สถิติมีพารามิเตอร์และไม่ใช้พารามิเตอร์ สัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์

Introduction to statistics; Population and Sample; Probability Distribution: Normal Distribution, T Distribution, F Distribution, and the Chi- Square Distribution; Descriptive Statistics: Frequency Distributions, Measures of Central Tendency, Measures of Dispersion; Inferential Statistics: Point and Interval Estimations, Hypothesis Testing: Parameter and Non- Parametric Statistics, Correlation Coefficient

การพัฒนาโครงงานตามหัวข้อที่กำหนดโดยใช้สถิติเพื่อการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล บนพื้นฐานของความคิดเชิงสร้างสรรค์ หรือการคิดเชิงออกแบบ เช่น การวิจัยเชิงปริมาณและเชิงคุณภาพทางวิทยาการดิจิทัลโดยใช้สถิติเพื่อการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล

 Project development on selected topics on statistics for data analytics based on creativity or design thinking: quantitative and qualitative research in digital sciences using statistics for data analytics
